En cette année très particulière, nous saisissons l'occasion, longuement attendue, de participer aux journées du patrimoine les 19 et 20 septembre 2020 à la rotonde du chemin de fer de Rillé.
In this very special year, we take the opportunity, long awaited, to attend the heritage days on september 19th and 20th 2020 at the roundhouse of the Rillé railway.
Pour notre première participation, on se limitera à une action à notre portée, il faut d'abord qu'on évalue l'organisation et l'impact pour savoir ce qu'on pourra faire de mieux la prochaine fois.
Le projet actuel est de sortir un maximum de matériel roulant du dépôt et de le disposer à la vue des visiteurs sur les voies rayonnantes autour du pont tournant de la rotonde. Dans celle-ci, quelques panneaux illustrés raconteront l'histoire de l'AECFM et un guide accueillera les visiteurs. De notre côté, nous envisageons d'installer une table avec un diaporama détaillant nos travaux, et une projection de nos vidéos pour faire la promotion de ce blog et de notre chaîne youtube.
For our first attendance, we will stick to an action level we can afford, we must first evaluate the organization and the impact to know how to improve next time.
The current project is to get a maximum of rolling stock out of the depot and to place it on the radial tracks around the turntable of the roundhouse. Inside, some displays will show the visitors the history of the AECFM and a guide will welcome the visitors. From our side, we will set a table with a diaporama about our work and a projection of our videos to promote this blog and our youtube channel.
A priori, le train ne circulera que le dimanche, avec visite du dépôt pour les passagers des trois premiers trains. Il y aura peut-être du monde pour accueillir d'éventuels visiteurs de passage le samedi mais c'est vraiment le dimanche que tout se passera, avec pas mal de manoeuvres le matin pour tout mettre en place.
Faut-il le préciser, l'accès sera entièrement gratuit, les billets servant aux statistiques de fréquentation. Accès par la gare et le train le dimanche, direct au dépôt pour ceux qui tenteraient leur chance samedi.
A priori, the train will only run on the sunday, with access to the depot for the three first trains. Maybe there will be some peoples there too on saturday to welcome eventual visitors passing by, but the action will mostly take place on sunday. There would be a significant amount of shunting to get the engines in place.
Needless to say, the access will be totally free, the tickets will serve for statistic purposes. Access by the station and the train on sunday, direct to the depot for those taking their chance on saturday.
