Minitrains a réalisé plusieurs versions de cette locomotive qui sont visibles ici. Une version militaire est en livrée gris clair avec des plaques Henschel. Une autre version Borsig est en livrée noire avec un châssis rouge et une cheminée équipée d'un pare escarbilles. Un de nos amis et lecteur, Jacques, a fait l'acquisition du modèle en livrée verte avec châssis noir et cheminée droite qui se rapproche le plus de notre locomotive. Il n'y a pas les liserés rouges mais c'est très réaliste.

Le châssis extérieur et la carrosserie sont bien détaillés et on voit même les rivets et les trappes de service. L’embiellage est simplifié mais pour un modèle réduit on ne peut guère espérer mieux et c'est déjà assez rare d'avoir une petite locomotive de ce type. La gravure est fine et soignée.
On peut voir les fenêtres qui rappelleront des épisodes de la restauration de la 040 grandeur nature.
Les lanternes s'allument suivant le sens de la marche et ce même à vitesse très réduite.
Il existe aussi le tender (réservoir d'eau) en deux versions et même la voiture ambulance.
