The 080T Brigadelok locomotive also inspires rail modelling. The proof is this very detailed model at 1/87th - HOe scale - of Minitrains. The HOe is the narrow gauge version of the HO which is the most widespread scale in rail modeling.

Minitrains has made several versions of this locomotive that are visible here . A military version is in light grey livery with Henschel plates. Another Borsig version is in black livery with a red chassis and its smokestack equipped with spark arrestor. A friend of ours and reader, Jacques, has acquired the model in green livery with black chassis and straight chimney that is closest to our locomotive. There are no red edings but it is very realistic.

You can see the windows that will recall episodes of the restoration of the real-size 080.
The lanterns light up according to the direction of travel and even at very reduced speed.
There is also the tender (water tank) in two versions and even the ambulance car.
